This could mean that the jet needle from the 07 is different from the 08 model I would need to measure the needles to see if they are the same but I don't have an 07 needle to check. Once that's done you should be good. Naturally, this could be something different like a spark issue, but most likely it's the carb. To test this, shoot a tiny bit of carb cleaner or starter fluid into the intakes, and try to crank it. If it starts and stalls, you've got spark but no fuel. If it still doesn't start, you may have a spark issue.
